Mp3Skript What's New?
Version 1.44 (11:00am Feb. 4, 1999)
- Mp3Skript is back in development, after a long break. This version contains
countless bug fixes. Update!
- @<nick> and !<nick> will now send your file list. (If Mp3Skript
is enabled.)
- /mp3play no longer auto-plays a song if it's the only one returned. Just double-click
the song to play it.
- Note: There is an error in the $findfile() function in mIRC 5.41. It works
for almost all file searches, but there were one or two for which it would return 0
results. If you want to fix this, download the new version of mIRC.
Version 1.43 (released 12:49am July 25)
- OK, the mp3 random requests will now be replied to correctly. >= looks so
similar to <= :)
Version 1.42 (released 10:30pm July 24)
- corrected a small typo
- mp3random requests are no longer replied to if all send slots are full, or if max. sends
is set to 0
Version 1.41 (released 2:20pm July 23, 1998)
- Building a list now includeds the file size of each file.
- Wrote a work-around for a bug in mIRC 5.4's $sdir function.
- More fixes in if-then-else logic.
Version 1.4 (released at 7:40pm, July 22, 1998.)
- If you've enabled auto-sending, Mp3Skript will now send to the old @locator file
requests (!<nick> <file>)
- If you've disabled auto-sending (Max-sends = 0) you will not reply to search
requests, effectively turning off Mp3Skript with one option.
- Removed the Mp3Skript auto-send. There was too much of a chance someone might
alter the code and insert a script.ini - like virus. You can still send the script
to people, but if older version users request it they'll be refered to the web site.
- /mp3play (Play, from the Mp3Skript menu) will now automatically open a window and
do a self-search on the string you entered. If there is only one response, the
window will close and the song will play. Now you can remember unique key phrases to
your songs and access them all by keyboard. ex: "/mp3play push it"
- changed some if-then-else logic to speed processing.
- probably more stuff that I can't think of. Big update. :)
Version 1.33
- @locator responses now compliant with #mp3_Central rules, according to
"Fogcutter".
- Now automatically checks to make sure you haven't loaded Mp3Skript twice when loading
manually.
Version 1.32
- Fixed the script to comply with the bug in the $exists() function included in mIRC.
(apparantly it can't add strings with $+ within the $exists.) This gets rid
of all of the "The mp3 list has not been built." messages in your mp3 list.
- Fixed list sending in Query window popups.
Version 1.31:
- The script can now reside in any directory.
- Fixed the CTCP version reply.
- Logs incomplete transfers in a file "mp3log.txt" in the directory which mIRC
stores downloaded *.mp3 files.
- Loading the script for the first time installs default settings.
